KROME EX - Loading M1 and TRITON sound librariesUpdated a year ago

The additional M1 and TRITON sound libraries for the KROME are both set to load onto bank F by default which was the only bank with no factory sounds on the original KROME.

On the KROME EX, bank F is already preloaded with factory sounds as well but you can load the data into one of the additional USER banks (from UB to UF as bank UA also has factory sounds).

To load the M1 and TRITON libraries alongside the KROME EX factory data, you can follow these steps:

1. Press the MEDIA button and select the Load tab.
2. Select the TRITON.PCG file and then press the Open button (instead of the usual Load button).
3. Select the Programs folder and then press the Open button again.
4. At this stage, it should show you the Bank F folder. Select it and then press the Load button.
5. The KROME EX will ask what bank you would like to load the data into. I would suggest selecting bank U-B. Press OK to confirm.

Once completed, you can repeat the same steps for the M1 programs but select another unused bank for the programs, like U-C, for example.
