SQ-1 not sending sequence to the MIDI Out portUpdated a year ago

If you have the SQ-1 connected to your computer via USB and you have configured your DAW software to output MIDI Clock to it, the SQ-1 will automatically switch its MIDI Clock to "external" which results in its internal sequencer data no longer being output via MIDI. This is its normal behaviour by design.

If you wish the SQ-1 to send its internal sequence data via MIDI as well as the CV/Gate outputs, the SQ-1 has to be the master MIDI Clock device so you should configure your DAW to receive MIDI Clock from the SQ-1 instead.
